THE CAMPUS
DeVry occupies three floors in the 8-story Queens Atrium Concourse Center, formerly part of the International
Design Center of New York. The campus's 155,430 square feet of space provide an outstanding, professionally
attractive, high-tech learning environment for students.
DeVry has 26 classrooms and 7 state-of-the art laboratories. The classrooms have an average seating capacity
of 43 students. Eight classrooms are tiered and include network connections to accommodate laptop computers.
There are two labs supporting the Electronics programs: the Electronics Lab with a capacity of 150 positions
and the Advanced Electronics Lab with a capacity of 25 positions. The main computer lab, with a capacity of
210 positions, supports the Computer Information Systems programs as well as those business and other
programs requiring the use of personal computers. The campus recently added a Telecommunications Lab and a
Networking Lab with 60 positions and six individual networks.
Science classes are taught in the Physics Lab and as well as a new 25-position Science Lab. The Physics Lab
is equipped with networked PC's and scientific testing equipment.
The library has over 14,000 paper and electronic titles, 72 paper periodicals, 9 databases and 13 computer
workstations for student use. The Academic Support Center provides students with free tutoring,
computer-assisted instruction, and workshops on various instructional topics.
LONG ISLAND CITY
DeVry is located in a resurgent and exciting Long Island City. The community is a mix of business, industry,
education, artistry, and historical landmarks. Home to New York City's largest film and production facility,
Long Island City also boasts the 48-story Citicorp Tower, the tallest building in the borough. The Hunters
Point Historical District contains some of the city's best-preserved Italianate row houses. Long Island City
has become the home to satellite offices of many firms in Manhattan, including several dot.com start-ups. The
continued development of the area is expected with the construction of the Queens West development project.

Six subways have stations less than a mile from our campus on 3020 Thomson Avenue: E, G, N, R, V, #7. Access
