As a result of your performance, you have been dismissed from DeVry Institute of Technology for failing to make satisfactory academic progress. You have been dismissed for one of the following reasons:

	Grade Point Average-First trimester GPA is under 1.0; and or, GPA is less than 2.0 for two consecutive terms; and or, On probation and interrupted studies.
	Credit Hour Progression-Not enough credit hours were completed within an academic year.
	Withdrawal/Dismissal-Withdrawal from all courses in two consecutive terms.
	Received a failing grade in one or both developmental course.

Please submit your letter of appeal to the "Academic Appeals Coordinator." Your appeal for reinstatement will be processed only if you experienced mitigating circumstances that impacted on your academic performance. You must provide documentation to support your appeal as soon as possible. You will receive the status of your appeal via email. Decisions will not be discussed over the phone.
